CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating

Course Overview

Our CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating will provide you with the specialised skillset and knowledge to work in the construction field, more specifically, in painting and decorating. You will learn how to paint and decorate residential and commercial properties, as well as learn the basic skills required for working in the construction industry.

The construction industry strongly believes gaining the appropriate skillset and knowledge required for the industry will only occur with training and assessment that’s undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment. Therefore, this qualification requires all core units to be delivered in this context.

Completion of the General Induction Training Program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement and is a prerequisite for many other units.
